Last Sabbath, the Voices of Faith singing group of PISDAC delivered a powerful and uplifting performance during their concert dubbed Tehilla, meaning “boundless praise,” leaving the audience inspired and deeply moved.
The concert, held at PISDAC, drew regular congregants and special guests for an afternoon of faith-filled music and fellowship. The group presented a rich selection of songs centered on themes of hope, gratitude, and love.
The program opened with Angels We Have Heard on High, setting an energetic and joyful tone for the afternoon. Other standout performances included Let the Song of Praise and How Can I Keep from Singing, both of which drew enthusiastic applause and heartfelt responses from the audience.
The concert also featured special performances that added depth and variety to the program. Brother Teddy touched hearts beyond words with his worship songs, while violinist Ms. Lydie Moutoumalaya captivated the congregation, earning a resounding round of applause. The Ukulele Group further enriched the musical experience with their contribution.
In addition to the musical presentations, the program included a special segment of prayer and an interactive quiz, fostering unity and engagement among the believers. The collaborative spirit of the event reflected PISDAC’s commitment to spreading messages of hope and faith through music.
Earlier during the divine service, Church Pastor Dr. Sunghyun Yoon encouraged congregants to embrace a spirit of gratitude and praise rather than complaint, even in times of hardship. He emphasised that gratitude promotes the health of both body and soul.
“The depth of our praise depends on the depth of our gratitude,” Pastor Yoon said. “If our gratitude is shallow, our praise will be shallow. But if our gratitude is deep, our praise will be more powerful.”
Acknowledging that churches and ministries face real challenges, Pastor Yoon encouraged believers to cultivate deep gratitude as the foundation of praise.
